| The Pangkor Island Beach Resort, located
off the coast of Lumut in the state of Perak, is among the more popular
beach resorts in the country. The journey to Lumut from Kuala Lumpur takes
approximately 3 hours via the coastal road or the North-south Expressway.
From the North-south Expressway, exit at Bidor junction and drive towards
Teluk Intan. On leaving Teluk Intan, head towards Sitiawan and then onwards
to Lumut. From Lumut it is a short 30 minutes ferry to the resort. Alternatively, one can take a 45 minutes flight from Subang Airport via Berjaya Air. Flights are daily except Tuesdays and Thursdays (one flight per day). |

| The Pangkor Island Beach Resort has 240 spacious and comfortable deluxe
rooms separated into three main wings; Garden Wing, Sea Wing and Pacific
Wing. The Pacific Wing is a 4-storey new wing providing 84 luxurious rooms
and suites. All rooms have a private balcony affording spectacular sea or tropical garden views and are well appointed with modern comforts and amenities featuring private bath/shower, hairdryer, minibar/mini refrigerator, complimentary tea/coffee making facilities, in-house video, Satellite TV (CNBC, Star Movie, Star Sports, Discovery Channel and Cartoon Network) and international direct dial telephone. |

| Restaurants & Bars There's really no faulting our resort when it comes to food and having fun. Gourmets can check out the Hornbill Restaurant, which offers a daily buffet, featuring both Western and local fare. And if it's a barbecue on the beach you fancy, we'll have it organised for you in no time. Hornbill Restaurant : Our informal open air dining area overlooks the swimming pool and secluded beach front. Offerings from the ? la carte and snack menus include a wide range of local and international dishes. For breakfast, the restaurant offers international and continental buffets and dinner is a casual affair where guests can opt for ? la carte or indulge in our delightful buffet dinners. The buffets reflect different regional cuisine - Malaysian, Chinese, Indian and International. The Pacific Terrace Restaurant : The Pacific Terrace provides a relaxed restaurant environment located at the ground floor, facing the Pacific Wing and swimming pool. This restaurant serves both lunch and dinner on an a' la carte menu from 11am to 10.30pm daily. Guests can enjoy a menu that changes on a regular basis and offer a mix of Asian and Pacific style food, giving it a Pacific Rim mix. Good selection of New World Wines are sold to compliment the menus offered. Golden Oriole Lobby Lounge and Bar : Our lobby lounge and bar offers a spectacular view overlooking the bay and the swimming pool serves all kinds of drinks with a full bar set up. Popular award-winning cocktails are served here. An evening at the open lobby lounge promises an enjoyable outing with live entertainment. There is also a kareoke section where you can sing in cool air-conditioned comfort. Kingfisher Pool Bar : Our poolside bar where guests can relax
and take in the breathtaking scenery of rich flora, fauna and the beautiful
sun-kissed beach, whilst relishing tropical cocktails and snacks. Menu
choices include small hot snacks and savoury pastries, with beers, champagne,
cocktails and exotic fruit juices. During peak room occupancy days,
operating hours are extended to service our guests. For lovers of the outdoors, the resort offers a wide range of activities, both land and water sports, motorised and non-motorised activities. |
